Andy Mundy-Castle made a film called 'White Nanny, Black Child' (also screening this year)
Between 1955 and 1995, over 70,000 West African children were fostered by white British families. He films nine at a retreat where they explore their past with the help of professional therapy, and is for most the first time they connect with people who shared a similar childhood.
He takes us through the process of the making of this film.
